I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Adler University in Chicago, IL, completing my doctorate in 2018. My specialized training includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Polyvagal Theory, and the Gottman Method for couples therapy. My passion for therapy is rooted in the deep belief that relationships and a sense of belonging form the core of mental well-being, resilience, and a meaningful life. Trauma and relationship challenges can profoundly disrupt this foundation, making it difficult to trust yourself, others, and your place in the world. Therapy offers a powerful opportunity for healing, growth, and reconnecting with your authentic self.

My clinical experience and research consistently show that the most impactful factor in therapy is not any single method, but the quality of the therapeutic relationship itself. I prioritize creating relationships grounded in collaboration, emotional safety, authenticity, and genuine curiosity. Within this supportive therapeutic space, clients often discover new perspectives, increased clarity, and greater compassion toward themselves. Some of the most powerful moments in therapy happen when you begin to see yourself with new clarity—and start making real, lasting changes.

As a queer first-generation immigrant, affirming diverse identities and relationship structures is central to my practice, along with an ongoing commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and staying current with emerging research and best practices.

Clients who are drawn to my practice often appreciate my collaborative style—one that blends warmth with honesty. I’m someone who shows up with presence and attunement, while also using research-informed approaches to support your growth. It’s a space where you can feel supported, seen, and gently encouraged to stretch into new possibilities.
